This policy sets out the basis on which we collect and process your personal data through your use of our website. CoCart Headless, LLC is the controller responsible for your personal data (referred to as “we”, “us” or “our” in this privacy policy).

Accessible from, privacy of our visitors is an absolute priority. We only ask for personal information when we actually need it. We use fair and lawful means to collect any data, and only with your knowledge and consent.

The only third parties that we share data with are secure and we only share what’s required:

  1. Mailchimp, for marketing emails to people who have consented to be on our mailing list for marketing and information purposes. We only share name and email address with them, and only when you have consented for this information to be shared, like when you sign up for our newsletter.

We don’t share any personally identifying information publicly or with third-parties, except when required to by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g. a court or a government agency).

We collect non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request.

Our purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how our visitors use its website. From time to time, We may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.

Personal Information

The amount and type of information that we gathers depends on the nature of the interaction.

Those who engage in transactions with us are asked to provide additional information, including as necessary the personal and financial information required to process those transactions.

In each case, we collect such information only so far as necessary or appropriate to full fill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction.

We do not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. And visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities.

This site does not store your credit card, ever.

We only disclose potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only to those of its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on our behalf or to provide services available at our websites, and (ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others.

We primarily use the blog to communicate this type of information, so expect us to keep this type of email to a minimum. If you send a request (for example via a support email or via one of my feedback mechanisms), we reserve the right to publish it in order to help us clarify or respond to your request or to help support other users.

We take all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration or destruction of potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information.
